A personal message from the Founder of LAUNCH Boat Protection:
Like most innovative products, LAUNCH Boat Protection was created to solve a problem; specifically, “how can I own a boat and NOT go broke if that boat breaks down?”
I founded LAUNCH because I am a boat owner whose boat broke down on the ramp while it was fully loaded with family and friends. The much-anticipated lake day was ruined. The worst was yet to come, as the boat obviously had to be repaired. Nearly $1000 dollars and a couple trips to the boat mechanic’s shop later, I was able to get back to the boat launch.
Not only am I a boat owner, but I also happen to be a category veteran in the warranty and underwriting industry. Very quickly after experiencing my first breakdown as a boat owner, I thought to search for a used boat warranty for my boat. To my surprise, nothing logical existed, so I set out to build it myself.
After nearly 3 years of program building and with the help of truly remarkable partners, LAUNCH Boat Protection was created to help every boat owner or potential boat owner make owning a boat affordable again. LAUNCH is not insurance and is better than a warranty; the perfect solution for boat owners to get back on the water with more cash in their wallets.
